Management Of IcyCup Presents GH₵ 50,000 To KNUST

The Management of IcyCup has presented a cheque of Fifty thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵50,000) to the University. Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kwasi Obiri Danso received the cheque on behalf of the University.

In an interaction with the Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Kobbina Awuah, a Managing partner of Peak Investment Capital (PIC), stated that much progress has been made and the campus market has been successful. He expressed his appreciation to management of the University for making KNUST’s IcyCup a successful brand. He added that, they have been able to open two shops in Accra and even though they face the challenge of the brand not well known, they hope it will become successful as well.

Professor Kwasi Obiri Danso, Vice-Chancellor, thanked the Management of IcyCup and promised to give them all the assistance they would need. He indicated that other varieties should be added to the fresh yoghurt for students to have other options to choose from.

Mr. Awuah later revealed plans to collaborate with fast food providers like KFC and Burger King to have a joint restaurant on campus. He stated that with the addition of the Pinkberry frozen yoghurt and the opening of more shops, patrons should expect more quality frozen yoghurt and good customer service.
