University Of Professional Studies ( UPSA ) Online Learning Platform

March 25, 2020 — Management has taken note that the Student Representative Council (SRC) has issued a statement about an alleged meeting with Management.

The statement from the SRC is patently false.

Management wishes to reiterate the following to all students:

  • Based on the directive by the President of the Republic of Ghana for universities to roll out distance learning programmes, UPSA began offering all its programmes online from March 18, 2020, using UPSA’s Learning Management System. Teaching for weeks 7 to 12 will be available to all students through this system.
  • All registered students in our doctoral, masters, undergraduate and diploma programmes have currently been placed on our learning management system and are taking classes at their regularly scheduled times.
  • Unregistered students are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible so they can be placed on our learning management system.
  • All online course materials are available for the duration of the semester for further use and reference by those whose Internet access might prove problematic or erratic based on their locations.

Students are reminded that all UPSA policies are still in effect with regard to student conduct and payment of fees.

Students are further reminded that official communication from Management to students will be through the University e-mail system, the UPSA website, and university-approved social media platforms.

All students are therefore expected to disregard the false communiqué from the SRC.
