What Is Meant By Visa In USA ?
Having a U.S. visa allows you to travel to a port of entry, airport or land border crossing, and request permission of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) inspector to enter the United States.

How To Check Visa Status In USA Online Via CEAC Site
Step 1 – Visit CEAC Website Via https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ .
Step 2 – Click Check My Visa Application Status
Step 3 – Enter Location, Application ID or Case Number
Step 4 – View US Visa Status
Can I check my US visa status with passport number?
For your convenience, you have several options to choose from to track the location of your passport.
If your status shows “origination scan”, it means your passport has left the Embassy or Consulate is on its way to the delivery location you have chosen. It is however not available yet for collection.
Only when the status shows “ready for pick up”, it means you can go to the delivery location you have chosen to pick up your passport.
Please do not go to your delivery location if your status does not show “ready for pick up” as it means your passport has not reached its final destination for pick up.
The Embassy or the Consulate cannot help you regarding the status of your passport delivery. Please do not contact the Embassy or Consulate regarding the status of your passport delivery.

The B1/B2 Visa is valid for 10 years, but for each entry, you are allowed to stay in the United States of American only for 180 days or 6 months (at most).
