The 2023 DV Lottery Status Check Portal is available to the 2022 DV-2023 visa lottery program applicants . Starting at noon (EDT) on May 8, 2022 the results of the DV-2022 visa lottery program will be available online. You will be able to check the status of your entry through the Entrant Status Check on the E-DV website at https://dvlottery.state.gov/ using your unique confirmation number and personal information.
The U.S. Department of State Electronic Diversity Visa Entrant Status Check for DV-2022 applicants is available until September 30, 2023. The Entrant Status Check for DV-2022 applicants will remain open until September 30, 2023

The process of checking for the DV visa lottery result has been fully computerized. The application process is strictly online. You will not be mailed a letter or emailed a notice alerting you that you’ve won a lottery or that your entry was not accepted.

How DV lottery winners are selected?
Candidates will be distributed among the six geographic regions. The quota for each country is no more than 7% of the winners. The computer will randomly select a certain number of winners from the general base of the region. A total of 100,000 to 150,000 winners worldwide will be chosen at this stage.
What happens after I win the DV lottery?
