Herbal medicine is a special and prominent form of traditional medicine, in which the traditional healer, in this case known as the herbalist, specializes in the use of herbs
The School of Herbal Medicine) offers a four-year undergraduate course leading to the BSc. (Honours) Degree in Herbal Medicine.
KNUST Bachelor BHM Herbal Medicine Entry Requirement
Credits in the THREE (3) Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science) are required.
Credit passes in THREE (3) Elective Subjects: Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.
A’ LEVEL APPLICANTS
FIVE (5) Credits at O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics plus THREE (3) A’ Level passes in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.
Applicants must be at least 25 years at the time of submitting the application.
FIVE (5) credits at the O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics
WASSCE/SSSCE Credit passes in THREE (3) Elective Subjects (Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics).
Applicants who are Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) certified or equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum of THREE (3) years working experience may apply.
Mature applicants must also pass an interview.
