KNUST Bachelor Fine Art BFA Ceramics –  This programme is offered at KNUST College of Art and Built Environment.

What is BFA Ceramics ?

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics is a four-year, 120 credit hour immersive course of study of the Ceramics medium. NOTE: Students pursuing the B.F.A. in Visual Art may also choose to focus primarily on Ceramics in their intermediate/advanced studies.

KNUST Bachelor Fine Art BFA Ceramics Entry Requirement

WASSCE/SSSCE APPLICANTS

Credit passes in Three (3) SSSCE/WASSCE Core Subjects; Including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science, plus credit passes in any three (3) electives from the following disciplines: Visual Art, Home Economics and General Arts .

A’ LEVEL APPLICANTS
FIVE (5) credits at GCE ‘O’ Level (or its equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics, plus TWO (2) passes at the Advanced Level.

MATURE APPLICANTS
Applicants must have attained the age of 25 years at the time of submitting the Application.
In addition to passing a written and oral examination, applicant must have;
EITHER
FIVE (5) credits at GCE ‘O’ Level (or its equivalent) including English Language and
Mathematics;
OR
Credit passes in THREE (3) SSSCE/WASSCE Core Subjects; including English Language, Mathematics (Core) and Integrated Science/ Social Studies, plus credit passes in any THREE (3) Electives from any of the following disciplines: Visual Art, Home Economics and General Arts.

HND AND DIPLOMA CERTIFICATE IN RELEVANT AREAS
Applicants may be admitted to start either from the SECOND (2nd) or THIRD (3rd) year based on performance at the interview.
