KNUST MA African Art and Culture One Year Degree – This programme is offered at KNUST Faculty of Art .

What is MA African Art and Culture ? 

African art describes the modern and historical paintings, sculptures, installations, and other visual culture from native or indigenous Africans and the African continent. African art includes ancient art, Islamic art of West Africa, the Christian art of East Africa, and the ritualistic art of these and other regions… MA African Art and Culture One Year Degree is of one year duration.

KNUST MA African Art and Culture One Year Entry Requirement

The pre-requisite criteria for admission to these programmes are:
 A good BA, BFA or BEd (First or Second Class) degree in any Art
discipline.


 A good pass (60% or above for MA and 65% or above for MPhil) in
Research Methodology at the undergraduate level.

 Submission of an appropriate topic that is relevant to Arts and Cultures
of indigenous African Society.


 A good pass (60% or above for MA and 65% and above for MPhil) in
a written examination and interview to be determined by the
Departmental Board.


 Completion of National Service.
