MOFA Schools Admission Status Login has been enabled by Ministry of Food and Agriculture.The Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) is the lead agency and focal point of the Government of Ghana, responsible for developing and executing policies and strategies for the agriculture sector within the context of a coordinated national socio-economic growth and development agenda. By means of a sector-wide approach, the Ministry’s plans and programmes are developed, coordinated and implemented through policy and strategy frameworks.

How To Apply For MOFA Schools Admission

Click on ‘APPLICATION FORMS‘ on the homepage.

2. Select Application Type (e.g.: Certificate or Diploma).

3. Supply your card information and ensure you keep the card safely for subsequent login.

4. Click login to start applying.

5. Fill Application form and upload passport picture.

6. An applicant’s passport picture should be in JPG or JPEG format and must not exceed 20KB in size.

7. Click ‘Preview’ or ‘Accept’ button to do any of the following:
a. Click ‘Edit button’ to modify your application.
b. Click ‘Save and Continue later button’ to save your application form with the option of Coming back at a later time to edit.
c. Click ‘Submit and Print Confirmation’ to complete your online application.
d. Click ‘Print’ button to Print Confirmation Page.

8. Keep your printed Confirmation Page safe.
You will require your Reference Number shown on the page to check your admission status and also print your admission letter.

9. Log out.

Admission Requirements To Agric Colleges In Ghana

The general requirements for the agricultural colleges are;

REGULAR PROGRAMMES

Diploma in General Agriculture

Qualification:

Three (3 ) years for SSSCE/ WASSCE students. Applicants must have aggregate 24 or better in the core subjects (English,Mathematics,Integrated Science) and any other three(3) Elective (Physics,Chemistry,Biology,General Agriculture,Fisheries,Animal Husbandry,Horticulture, etc) subjects.WAASSCE applicants must have credit in the Core subjects and at least C6 in any three (3) of the a fore-named Elective subjects.

Diploma in Agricultural Extension

Qualification:

Two (2) years for holders of Certificate in General Agriculture with at least two(2) years working experience

SANDWICH/WEEKEND PROGRAMMES

Diploma in General Agriculture

Qualification:

Two(2) years for holders of Certificate in General Agriculture with at least two(2) years working experience

Certificate in General Agriculture

Qualification:

Two(2) years for staff in Agricultural establishments

Short Courses on Snails and fish farming,Mushroom production,Poultry production,Rabbit production,Grasscutter production,Pig & Vegetable Production,Beekeeping,Pesticides Management,Animal Health and Disease Control etc are also available.

Duration:1-16 weeks depending on the programme

The Human resource Development and Management Directorate oversees the running and management of Colleges of Agriculture and Farm Training Institutions
